A major 6.1 earthquake hit 144 km northeast of Miyako, Japan, on April 11, 2019, at 08:18:20 UTC, at a depth of 12.2 km, reported the USGS.

A major 6.9 quake rattled Sulawesi, Indonesia, on April 12, 2019, at 11:40:56 UTC, (at an approximate shallow depth of 10 km, according to various reporting agencies), reported LDEO.
I was unable to access Indonesia’s geophysics agency, but according to Weather.com, a tsunami warning was issued (see screen shot below). The USGS reported there is no tsunami warning. *During the September 28, 2018 tsunami, Indonesia’s geophysics agency BMKG, which is under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), withdrew their tsunami warning, causing the deaths of more than 2,000 people (as an additional +5,000 were still missing, leaving perhaps has many as 7,000 dead).
