On Saturday, May 4, 2019, Gaza began firing a barrage of rockets into Israel, killing four and injuring at least 234, after 690 rockets were fired over the weekend.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded by hitting over 350 targets, striking terrorist leaders and their buildings. Palestinians reported 25 dead and 154 injured. Among the dead, nine were known members of terrorist groups in Gaza.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared a cease fire on Monday morning, but he also announced that Israel was not finished.
The conflict will actually not be over, even with periods of cease fire, until after the prophesied Gog-Magog War of Ezekiel 38 officially ends, which has not even started yet.
Ezekiel foretold details concerning this war of the latter days,
“And the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, set your face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, Thus says the Lord God, behold, I Am against you, oh Gog, the chief prince (fallen angel, principality over the northern kingdom) of Meshech and Tubal (Russia today, who has already aligned with Persia [Iran today]) and I will turn you back and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth, and all your army, horses and horsemen (military vehicles and troops today, which were not in the prophet’s vocabulary at that time), all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields (implements of war today that were not in the prophet’s vocabulary), all of them handling swords (munitions, rifles today); Persia (Iran since 1932), Ethiopia (a larger geographical area in northeast Africa than Ethiopia is today) and Libya with them, all of them with shield (defense implements) and helmet; Gomer and all his bands, the house of Togarmah of the north quarters (Russia), and all his bands, and many people with you. Be prepared and prepare for yourself, you, and all your company that are assembled unto you, and be a guard unto them (God is being sarcastic here). After many days, you will be visited; in the latter years you shall come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people (from other nations, the Jews who returned to Israel), against the mountains of Israel, which have always been waste, but are brought forth out of the nations and they shall dwell safely, all of them. You will ascend and come like a storm, you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your bands, and many people with you. Thus says the Lord God, it shall also come to pass that at the same time, things will come into your mind and you will think an evil thought and you will say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls (no fortresses), and having neither bars nor gates, to take a spoil and to take a prey, to turn your hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land…Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus says the Lord God, in that day, when My people of Israel dwell safely, shall you not know it (that they are safe in My care)? And you shall come from your place, out of the north parts, you, and many people with you, all of them riding upon horses (tanks and vehicles, not in the prophet’s vocabulary at that time), a great company and a mighty army, and you shall come up against My people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against My land (God’s hand will be in it; He will finally destroy great numbers of them), that the heathen may know Me, when I shall be sanctified (glorified in the destruction of the enemies of God and His people) in you, oh Gog, before their eyes. Thus says the Lord God, are you he of whom I have spoken in old time by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days, many years, that I would bring you against them? (God is being sarcastic here) And it shall come to pass at the same time, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says the Lord God, that My fury shall come up in My face, for in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel, so that the fishes of the sea, the fowls of heaven and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things on the earth, and all men that are upon the face of the earth shall shake at My presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down and the steep places shall fall and every wall shall fall to the ground; and I will call for a sword against him (Gog and his armies) throughout all My mountains, says the Lord God. Every man’s sword shall be against his brother (death by friendly fire). And I will plead against him with pestilence and blood, and I will rain upon him, his bands and many people with him, an overflowing rain, great hailstones, fire and brimstone. Thus will I magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations and they shall know that I Am the Lord” Ezekiel 38:1-12, 14-23
Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

During the persecutions of Protestants by the Roman Catholics in Britain and Ireland in 1538, One named Cowbridge was burned alive by the Catholics for some infraction; one named Purderve was put to death, presumed to be burned, but the exact method of execution is not named; a very old man, William Letton, of the County of Suffolk, was burned at Norwich for speaking against an idol that was carried by the Catholics in a procession, and for asserting a correct method to administer the Sacrament; and Nicholas Peke was burned alive in a gruesome way in Norwich – all in the name of God (the god of Catholics, who is Lucifer)!

A few hundred years ago, Fox’s Book of Martyrs was chained to every pulpit, alongside the Holy Bible. I suppose people decided to turn their heads away from such violent crimes and become more “dignified.” We dishonor those who suffered by burying their testimonies and martyrdom! It also seems most churches today are too “dignified” for the Holy Spirit and fire, Who fell on the apostles of the early church (Acts 2)!
The Catholic Church has never issued an apology for the crimes committed during the Inquisition and the brutal torture and murders of Protestant Christians, who denounced papal authority, denied Purgatory, the selling of indulgences in sin, the worship of idols, and prayers to the saints and the Virgin Mary. Neither has any reparation been made to the heirs of the saints who suffered such vile persecutions from the Catholic Church. Protestants were brutally murdered by Catholics by way of burning them alive at the stake, flaying alive, hangings, cutting them to pieces, burying them alive, drowning, torturing them on the rack, whereby bones were broken and bodies ripped apart, beheading them, etc… The property and assets were seized of those heinously murdered by the Catholic Church from about the Twelfth Century through around the 1820s, not that long ago. The Vatican sits atop the blood of the saints. Revelation 18 describes her brutal end for heresies and having committed such abominable crimes.
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins and that you receive not of her plagues” Revelation 18:4.
God is calling His sincere believers to come out of the Catholic abomination, before it’s too late!
