STROMBOLI VOLCANO ERUPTS

The Stromboli volcano erupted, shooting lava high into the sky on December 15, 2017, with lava flows from the volcano’s northeastern crater.

Stromboli is an island north of Sicily and its volcano has been erupting near continuously for at least the last 2,000 years, as far back as recorded history, although it is currently on high alert.

On September 22, 2017, VolcanoDiscovery.com reported 157 active volcanoes, as compared to 145 on September 21, 2016, not counting undersea volcanoes.

Notable eruptions are occurring now at the Stromboli, Fuego, Klyuchevskoy, Dukono, Agung, Reventador, Erta Ale and Sinabung volcanoes.

The Word of God tells us concerning the last days,

“I will show wonders in heaven above, signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke” Acts 2:19.

As we move closer to the Lord’s return, we will see more volcanic eruptions; apparently some catastrophic ones. At the start of the seven-year great tribulation, during the seal judgments, every island and mountain will be moved. Volcanoes are located on the islands and mountains of the world.

“Heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places” Revelation 6:14.

Agung Volcano Erupts Ash – On Red Alert for Major Eruption

AGUNG VOLCANO ERUPTS – ON RED ALERT FOR MAJOR ERUPTION

The Agung volcano has been on red alert since September, although eruptions and volcanic ash have intensified, sending ash 30,000 feet and causing the closure of two airports in Indonesia since Monday.

Thousands of tourists are stranded in Bali, as 443 flights were cancelled.

Some residents have returned to their homes since the evacuation in September, but residents are being warned to evacuate again because a major eruption is imminent.

The Word of God says this concerning the last days,

“I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke” Acts 2:19 (emphasis added).

We will see more volcanic eruptions, as we draw closer to the return of the Lord.

AGUNG VOLCANO ERUPTING

The alert level has been raised to maximum (4) for an imminent eruption of the Agung volcano in Indonesia.

Evacuations took place on Friday.

There are currently 157 active volcanoes, not counting undersea volcanoes we are unaware of (145 counted on September 20, 2016). Among the 157 that are at some level of warning, 39 volcanoes are erupting with the highest level of warning, according to the list and map of active volcanoes on VolcanoDiscovery.com.

Volcanoes erupting with the highest level of warning are located in Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Indonesia, Central America, South America, the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean, the Ring of Fire (Kurile Islands to the Philippines) and other regions belonging to the United Kingdom and the Antarctica. Most of the erupting volcanoes are located in the Ring of Fire.
