A great 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit Southern Alaska on November 30, 2018, at 17:29:29 UTC, at a depth of 41 km, reported Geoscience Australia (may not be finalized).
The PTWC issued a Tsunami Information Statement on November 30, 2018 at 1738 UTC.

1,038 major (6.0+) to super (8.0+) earthquakes hit various places worldwide over the last 2,095 days. Among these were 113 7.0+ and 13 8.0+ magnitude quakes.
