Several years ago, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn wrote two national best sellers, The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah. He tied many of the historical harbingers that were demonstrated against ancient Israel, when the nation sinned against God, to the harbingers that manifested surrounding the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center, which were nothing less than astonishing.
Rabbi Cahn has pointed out in more recent prophetic conferences that the harbingers are continuing to manifest in America since he wrote The Harbinger.
It is remarkable how God has blessed Rabbi Cahn with revelation, after revelation, during the end times and how the Lord has escalated his ministry from a relatively small group in New Jersey, to an international ministry, Hope of the World, with what can only be termed as “God speed.”
I don’t believe Rabbi Cahn mentioned in the book that a fellow Christian sent him an email only two days before the Twin Towers fell on 9-11, explaining to him that he had a profound dream of standing near the World Trade Center (WTC), as a mighty angel pointed to the towers and they began to demolish to the ground, as people fled from the buildings.
Only a year before 9-11, Rabbi Cahn led his small congregation to the WTC, feeling led by God to pray at that location for America.
Something else occurred during 9-11, which was not known or included in The Harbinger. A photographer snapped a photo of some of the debris at ground zero, just before being ushered away from the area. When he developed the film, he noticed a page from a Bible that had been torn out by the blast. The page contained a passage from Isaiah 9:10, “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones; the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” The photographer began to weep. These were Israel’s words of defiance after Jerusalem’s walls were breached by enemies, after being warned by the prophet to repent.
Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, likely without realizing it was a statement of defiance, read the same passage of scripture from Isaiah 9:10 on September 12, 2001! Because of their defiance, the Prophet Isaiah told Israel that the Lord would join their enemies together and “set up the adversaries of Rezin” against them (Isaiah 9:11), which is exactly what happened. The Kingdom of Rezin was tributary to the Assyrians, terrorists, which kingdoms have issued the same Muslim terrorists we see threatening and terrorizing Israel, the United States and other nations all over the world today.
Because of America’s lack of repentance, and her leaders even repeating the same defiant words spoken by Israel when God allowed a (warning) breach against the walls of Jerusalem by his enemies, the harbingers of warning continue against America.
In fact, during the Shemitah (seven-year Sabbath) of 2015, we saw the greatest Stock Market crash since the last Shemitah of 2008. The Stock Market crashed and produced the greatest global collapse of trade since the Shemitah of 2008. This Shemitah (2015) was the worst year for the Baltic Dry Index (BDI) in the history of the BDI. Some factors collapsed 80 percent; it produced the greatest collapse in oil since 2008; it collapsed commodities, earnings and retail profit.
China was the center of world economy going into the 2015 Shemitah, but 43 percent of China’s markets were wiped out in 2015. That was the greatest crash in world history.
The Shemitah of 2015 was the worst year to make money in 78 years, since the Great Depression.
There was a great historical sycamore tree at the corner of ground zero, within the grounds of St Paul’s Chapel in New York City, that was struck on 9-11. It was later replaced with an erez tree, called the Tree of Hope. Part of Israel’s ancient statement of defiance in Isaiah 9:10 says, “…the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” The erez tree is a cedar.
This replacement didn’t impress God in the least. In fact, as hard as they worked to keep the Tree of Hope alive, even replacing the soil and treating the branches, that erez tree died in the spring of 2014.
Because of Rabbi Cahn’s book, The Harbinger, people from all over the United States have visited the roots of the sycamore tree on display and the erez Tree of Hope. Now, the Tree of Hope is dead, which is an ominous sign of impending judgment against this nation for the unrepentant sins of America.
Donald Trump’s presidency is an answer to the prayers of God’s people, and his presidency has brought about a sign of relief for the children of God; and an opportunity still extended to America to repent, turn away from sin and give thanks to a merciful God.
The return of the Lord for his saints is imminent, after which event, seven years of the greatest tribulation known to man will befall the earth (Matthew 24:21). Today is the day of salvation, because tomorrow could be too late. People can be saved during the tribulation, but they will have to refuse the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18) and be beheaded (Revelation 20:4).
