You Are So Beautiful – Ray Charles

שבת שלום

Shabbat Shalom = A Peaceful Sabbath

Last week I posted a love song, I Love You for All Seasons by the Fuzz, and I shared about how the Lord moved on my heart to sing that love song to Him. I decided to share another love song this week that I sing to the Lord often, You Are So Beautiful (lyrics below). If you missed last week’s talent, please review it, because I wrote some things that I won’t repeat here about praise and worship to the Lord, and how the words to these love songs are also relevant to praising God.

This week’s song, You Are So Beautiful, is often attributed to Joe Cocker, because he made it famous, but Billy Preston wrote the song.

I am playing Ray Charles’s rendition first because he does it well, but he also sings and plays piano as though he can really see. Charles is blind, as you probably know, but he sees from his spirit, and that comes through in this song. We too need to sing to the Lord with our hearts, in the Holy Spirit, or it is meaningless.

Next, I uploaded Billy Preston’s performance because he wrote the song, he sings it well, but he is “off the chart” playing it on the Hammond.

As I looked for Joe Cocker’s rendition of the song, because he made it famous, I came across the following version by Matthew Darren. He sang the song so passionately, I decided to upload his video. This is how we need to worship the Lord, with great passion. The Lord loves it; I promise you, He does.

You Are So Beautiful – Matthew Darren

Salvation is offered to everyone who repents of sin and receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unless a person crosses a line with God, to the point of becoming reprobate, having no conscience (Romans 1:21-32; Hebrews 6:4-6). Now is the time of salvation for everyone; tomorrow, or even the next hour, could be too late.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth (Revelation 20:12-15)? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. Please visit the How Can I Be Saved page – your eternal destiny depends on it. God bless you.

“The Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him who hears say, Come; and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely” Revelation 22:17

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL

You are so beautiful to me

You are so beautiful to me, can’t you see?

You are everything that I hope for

You are everything that I need

You are so beautiful to me

Another thing I want to tell you,

Such joy and happiness you bring

Such joy and happiness you bring

Just like a dream

You’re like a guiding light shining in the night

You are heaven’s gift to me

You are so beautiful to me

(Music)

You are everything that I need

You are so beautiful

You are so beautiful

You are so beautiful

You are so beautiful to me

Billy Preston – My Sweet Lord

Shabbat Shalom = A Peaceful Sabbath

It has been a long time waiting, for certain, but the signs of the times are here and we are ever closer to the Lord’s return. Have you been disappointed year after year, waiting for His appearance? Take heart; His promises are sure.

The Word tells us,

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:9

The Lord already warned us that we might believe He is “slack concerning His promise.” He has waited patiently for wayward souls, many who had praying mothers and grandmothers, but who have trifled with God and continuously become entangled with the world.

The Word also tells us,

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” 1 John 2:15

The Lord is waiting for wayward, backslidden souls to let go of this sinful world and place all of their faith and trust in Him, to give Him their love and attention. He doesn’t want you to be lost forever, friend, if you have tangled yourself up with the world and the things of this world. Surely, we brought nothing into this world, and we will take nothing out of here with us! We will all face God alone one day, on Judgment Day, to give an account for what we have done in this brief life, before all eternity begins. Are you ready to face Him?

If not, come home, beloved; God does not want you to perish. We have a glorious home waiting, one not made with hands:

“But as it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him’” 1 Corinthians 2:9

George Harrison’s intention was to mingle the Hebrew praise, “Halelujah,” and the Hare Krishna praise, “Hare Krishna,” in the song, but I have removed the lyrics (below) where “Hare Krishna” begins. All praise honor and glory go to the One and only true God. Halelujah (more literally “halelu Yah”) is the English transliteration for the Hebrew word הַלְלוּ יָהּ‎, which means “praise God.”

The gifts and the calling of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29). This song was gifted to George Harrison from God; the anointing is in the song; you can feel it. God gave gifts to George Harrison to use for His glory, but Harrison failed. He loved the world and the things that are in the world. I hope he repented before he took his last breath, because after that, we face judgment. I caution you not to sing “Hare Krishna,” nor give it any regard, because Harrison made a very wrong turn when he added “Hare Krishna” to the song; it is blasphemy. We are all here to make a choice; God gives us the opportunity here and now to make the choice, not of a lifetime, but the choice of eternity. Don’t blow it; don’t make the wrong choice. Sing Halelujah and enjoy the song. Turn this song into one wholly given to praising God Almighty and sing “Halelujah!”

My Sweet Lord

My sweet Lord

Oh, my Lord

My sweet Lord

I really want to see You

I really want to be with You

I really want to see You, Lord

But it takes so long, my Lord

My sweet Lord

Oh, my Lord; oh, my Lord

I really want to know You

I really want to go with You

I really want to show You, Lord

That it won’t take long, my Lord

Halelujah

My sweet Lord

Halelujah

Oh, my Lord

Halelujah

My sweet Lord

Halelujah

I really want to see You

I really want to see You

I really want to see You, Lord

I really want to see You, Lord

But it takes so long, my Lord

Halelujah

Oh, my Lord

Halelujah

My sweet Lord

Halelujah

Oh, my Lord

Halelujah

Halelujah

I really want to see You

Halelujah

I really want to see You, Lord

But it takes so long, my Lord

Halelujah

My sweet Lord

Halelujah,

Oh, my Lord

Halelujah

My sweet Lord

Halelujah

My sweet Lord

Billy Preston – You Can’t Beat God Giving

שבת שלום

Shabbat Shalom – Peaceful Sabbath

President Donald Trump asked the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to lower taxes, make filing simpler and ease the tax burden on Americans; but he has been duped by the Liberal Luciferian Lunatics, the IRS and the megabanksters.

Instead of reducing the tax burden, nearly everyone’s taxes have gone up! Instead of minimizing the tax forms, IRS added six additional schedules to the list of forms that are required; and as an insidious joke, they cut the 1040 “in half,” producing two half-pages. Oh yes, and they eliminated the 1040EZ, the simplified 1040!

Yes, the standard deduction went up, but since the personal exemptions have been eliminated, which were the crux of the American “tax breaks,” most people’s taxes have increased – a lot!

My taxes increased substantially this year, hundreds of dollars, even though my income is below the poverty level!

That’s right. The LLLs are trying to literally kill us, folks. They are trying to squeeze the blood right out of us – with no mercy!

Nevertheless, I am faithful to God, and He is faithful to me.

YOU CAN’T BEAT GOD GIVING, NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY!

My tax bill is paid, friends, gratis the Lord God Almighty! Now that is a miracle!

The Word of God tells us,

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse (God’s house), that there may be meat (provision) in My house, and prove Me now herewith, says the Lord of Hosts, (and see) if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing to you, so there shall not be room enough to receive it” Malachi 3:10

“He who has pity upon the poor, lends to the Lord; and that which he has given, He (the Lord) will pay him again” Proverbs 19:17

I am living proof!

God is faithful, faithful, faithful, oh, so faithful!
