Costa Rica’s Turrialba volcano erupted on September 20th and at least four eruptions have occurred, spewing ash 13,000 miles into the air, which caused authorities to close two airports in Costa Rica.
The Turrialba Volcano in the Cartago Province of Costa Rica began erupting on Friday. The volcano is spewing ash up to 3 kilometers, with wind blowing smoke and ash westward.
Hundreds of residents sought medical help due to breathing and skin problems, reported RT.
