BLEEDING EYE FEVER EPIDEMIC

Four people have died and dozens more health workers in East Africa have been infected with “bleeding eye fever,” which is now considered an epidemic.

This new disease, officially named Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF), causes bleeding from the eyes, mouth and anus.

The disease is transmitted through tick bites, contact with the blood of infected animals and contact with the blood, or body fluids, of infected people.

Symptoms appear suddenly and include fever, muscle aches, dizziness, neck pain and stiffness, backache, headache, sore eyes, sensitivity to light, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain and sore throat.

About one third of the people infected die within two weeks of contracting the disease.

In addition to recent outbreaks of hepatitis A, dengue fever, cholera, Ebola, Black Plague, and more, we are also seeing new diseases surface, such as this bleeding eye fever, which kills rapidly a high percentage of people who contract the disease. A high number of fatalities have also occurred due to outbreaks of the above named diseases, from the hepatitis outbreak in the United States, to the cholera epidemic that has hit more than one million people in Yemen.

Jesus said concerning the last days,

“Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places…So likewise, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near (the Lord’s return), even at the doors” Matthew 24:7, 33.

Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled and those remaining shall surely come to pass. Are you prepared to stand before God and give an account of the life you have lived on this earth (Revelation 20:12-15)? If not, salvation is only a prayer away. The Pope being informed of the great increase in Protestantism in the year 1542, sent inquisitors to Venice to make an inquiry into the matter. Hence, a severe persecution began and many worthy persons were martyred for serving God with purity. A citizen of Venice, Anthony Ricetti, being apprehended as a Protestant, was sentenced to be drowned. A few days previous to the time appointed for his execution, his son went to see him and begged him to recant, that his life might be saved and himself not left fatherless. To which the father replied, “A good Christian is bound to relinquish not only goods and children, but life itself, for the glory of his Redeemer; therefore, I am resolved to sacrifice everything in this transitory world, for the sake of salvation in a world that will last throughout eternity.” The lords of Venice likewise sent him word that if he would embrace the Roman Catholic religion, they would not only give him his life, but redeem a considerable estate which he had mortgaged and freely present him with it. This he absolutely refused, sending word to the nobles that he valued his soul beyond all other considerations. Being told that a fellow prisoner named Francis Sega had recanted, he answered, “If he has forsaken God, I pity him, but I shall continue steadfast in my duty.” Francis Sega never recanted, but news of his recantation to Ricetti was a lie, and Sega was executed a few days after Ricetti by drowning.

Excerpts taken from Fox’s Book of Martyrs – Zondervan Publishing House (1926)

The Catholic Church has never issued an apology for the crimes committed during the Inquisition and the brutal murders of Protestant Christians who denounced papal authority, denied Purgatory, the selling of indulgences in sin, the worship of idols, prayers to the saints and the Virgin Mary. Neither has any reparation been made to the heirs of the saints who suffered such persecutions from the Catholic Church. Protestants were brutally murdered by Catholics by way of burning them alive at the stake, flaying alive, hangings, cutting them to pieces, burying them alive, drowning, torturing them on the rack, whereby bones were broken and bodies ripped apart, beheading them, etc… The property and assets were seized of those heinously murdered by the Catholic Church from about the Twelfth Century through around the 1820s. The Vatican sits atop the blood of the saints. Revelation 18 describes her brutal end for heresies and having committed such abominable crimes.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins and that you receive not of her plagues” Revelation 18:4.

God is calling His sincere believers to come out of the Catholic abomination, before it’s too late!

Hepatitis Outbreak In San Diego Kills 17

HEPATITIS OUTBREAK IN SAN DIEGO KILLS 17

San Diego requested emergency services from Homeland Security due to a hepatitis A epidemic that has killed 17 and sickened at least 421 people.

Crews wearing hazmat suits were spraying sidewalks with bleach on Friday to help curb the disease outbreak.

Hepatitis A is spread through urine and feces and the epidemic has been blamed on lack of restrooms and sanitation for a large community of homeless living in San Diego.

If a pedestrian walks through infected urine on the street and later touches their shoes, the disease can spread easily and quickly.

Sidewalks are being sprayed and the homeless have been moved away from large sidewalk encampments. City crews also moved homeless people out of campsites along the San Diego River.

News sources have not reported what alternatives, if any, were provided the homeless.

The United States has an outbreak of homelessness, especially throughout California, including San Francisco and San Diego.

The homeless population consists of people that have been unemployed for extended periods of time, but also include those who abuse drugs and alcohol and those who are suffering from mental health issues.

Cities frequently confiscate the few belongings the homeless possess and order them to leave the community. With billions of tax dollars flowing through their budgets, cities should have recovery services available to the homeless, but they are generally very inadequate and sometimes nonexistent.

Christian organizations, such as the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRMs), which rely on donations to help the homeless, are very effective. If you know someone, or perhaps even a family that is homeless, please direct them to AGRM (800) 4RESCUE (800-473-7283). They have about 300 missions in communities throughout North America and they display a map with mission locations on their website: www.agrm.org, or http://www.agrm.org/agrm/Locate_a_Mission.asp.

The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions was established in 1913 and they have been leading souls to Christ, feeding the hungry, providing housing and all around recovery services to the homeless.

Homelessness is epidemic throughout the United States. Please consider donating to AGRM to help provide essential services to the homeless and lead them to Jesus Christ – the Answer.

Jesus said,

“…Truly, I say unto you, inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, you have done it unto Me…Truly, I say unto you, inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to Me” Matthew 25:40, 45.

As we help someone in need, we do it for Christ – this is how God considers our gifts.

Jesus also said concerning the last days,

“Nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places” Matthew 24:7 (emphasis added).

Things will not improve before the Lord returns; they will only wax worse. In the meantime, we have an opportunity to store treasures in heaven by helping those who are in need. God bless you!
